Wet enamel coating

The wet-process enameling production line of Qixing Power is built following the standards of its European industry peers and is one of the most advanced production lines in China. Its key advantages include high efficiency and stable product quality. We have years of experience in wet-process enameling, and every step—from glaze formulation and grinding to testing and enameling itself—is strictly aligned with European enamel manufacturing standards.
In the development of glaze formulations, our company, together with the U.S. company Fulu, has jointly developed the “M425 Special Glaze for Heat Exchangers.” This glaze was thoroughly designed with reference to the operational conditions of domestic power plant units, and extensive work was conducted specifically on the characteristics of coal types used, as well as on the temperature, humidity, and concentrations of sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide, and ammonium bisulfate in flue gases. Additionally, detailed studies were carried out on the actual operating conditions of air preheaters and flue gas heat exchangers. The finished products fired using this glaze have been tested by the National Enamel Testing Center and achieved an acid resistance rating of AA grade, with a weight loss of no more than 1.5 grams per square meter and excellent adhesion performance rated as Class I.
In the glaze formulation and grinding process, a frit-plus-additive formula is selected to maximize the glaze’s coating and enamel-forming properties, reduce the amount of clay used, and minimize the loss of the glaze’s intrinsic performance caused by the pre-ground dry powder during grinding.
Before using the glaze, strictly conduct tests on the glaze’s particle size and adhesion level in accordance with process standards, ensuring that the grinding time, coating thickness, and adhesion performance meet the required specifications.
During the production process, ensure that the temperature and humidity in the enamel-coating workshop remain relatively stable, and periodically inspect and test the glaze materials in the feeding bins and enamel-coating bins.
We have two wet-process enamel coating production lines, with a daily coating capacity of over 24,000 square meters. This enables us to meet customers’ urgent and sudden needs, thereby saving power plants time on maintenance and repairs.
